Our experience with Melissa and Whimsy Pop was absolutely incredible! She came to our studio and guided 30+ of us through painting wooden mandalas, and every single piece turned out beautifully and completely unique to its creator. It was such a powerful reminder that even when we're all doing the same thing, we each have something special and wonderful to offer the world.
Melissa thoughtfully created the most inviting atmosphere, with a beautifully styled "harvest table" setup complete with paints, markers, brushes, water, and even sweet little flower vases to add even more magic. Every detail was considered; nothing was forgotten. Before we began, Melissa led us through a few simple affirmations - “I will trust the process”, and “I will not compare my art to anyone else’s..." It may sound small, but saying these mantras out loud together shifted the energy in the room, helping everyone relax, smile, and enjoy the creative process. And throughout the experience, she encouraged us to appreciate one another’s work, making each person feel seen and celebrated.
The entire event was super fun, inclusive, engaging, and truly memorable. Thank you, Melissa and Whimsy Pop, for bringing so much creativity and whimsy to our community!
